The end of a beginning

Unit 10 Post
Hello to my classmate this is pretty much the same post as last week, however the ending changes.  For my physical health my diet is very important, the recommendations from the food pyramid are not for everyone.  My stomach is small and could not hold half of what they recommend.  I eat fruits in the morning and vegetable and 5 ounces of meat in the evening; everything must be organic and fresh.  I do Tai’ Chi’, walk and run three to four time per week, I always take stairs.  For my psychological wellness, I read my bible and stay prayed up and over, meditation several hours per day is a must.  My routine combines the mental and spiritual, because you can not have one without the other.  The calm-abiding mind, must meditate, as with the witnessing mind, to come to come to spiritual peace.
I will continue to stay on the healing path that I have practiced for about 20 years.  The awakening model is the same model as the Integral Health model, however with a different name.  Each night at bedtime I will still recap my day to assure that I was the best person that I could be; and had caused no harm to another or myself.  I will request forgiveness for any sins known and unknown, and forgive those that have wronged me.  I will continue to donate, contribute to, and work with causes for the betterment of mankind.  I will look out for those that need my help and do what I can, exercise, eat well, meditate, be forever grateful, forgiving, and kind to all living things.  This is my commitment to life.  The thing that I have the greatest appreciation for, the thing that I received the most from this class was not from it's teaching but rather from my classmates.
No one knows or sees the other in a distant learning environment my classmates had no idea that I was Creek American Indian, Irish and Israeli.  Within theses very diverse cultures I had been raised with overwhelming morals and values from them all; including arranged marriages, strong religious backgrounds on all sides and to honor the spiritual realm.  You guys are great, I have read, and taken to heart each and every blog 225 to be exact.  I came to realize me at a very young age at that is whom I chose to remain, there was a break I chose to fix it.  I love God, myself and everyone else the same.  But my classmates in HW420-01, you guys "ARE THE BOMB", as my children would say.  I love you all and Be Blessed my sisters and brothers. Namaste and keep moving forward

  2. Hi Lisa,
As always I love to read your blog and I feel your peace come through every time I sit down to ponder your thoughts. Your commitment to to this life and your deep respect for others shines through in every word you have written and I am glad we got to have a chance to get to know one another.
I am blessed to live in California’s Central Valley. The diversity here is like a beautiful and colorful tapestry, increasing in size and shape. I am also American Indian from my great grandmother and Black Dutch & Irish from my other grandmother, with so many other cultural and ethnicities thrown in the mix.
May the road travel be blessed and rich with all of life has to offer :)Lisha

  3. Hello lisa,

I would like to wish you the best of luck on maintaining the goals you've set and I apploud you for the love you have for others. I know I may not be able to see you, but you seem like a lovely woman with a very good heart. Keep moving forward in life and life will be good to you. I think you have a pretty handle on integral health and I know you'll succeed in what ever you do.

it has been a joy conversing with you this term. I wonder if anyone else feels like the old got an upgrade; even if it is just little nuances that can be observed in our practices. Stay beautiful and many more gifts of the spirit will become blessings in your life.

  5. Hey Lisa
It was great having you in class. It is good that you are able to do all the things you do in order to stay healthy, if I could only do half of those things. I am working on it though. I just have to find the time. This class made me realize that if I want to be healthy I need to work on my physically, spiritual, and mental well-being. I guess this class is my motivation to do the things that I need to do to get on the right path. I wish you the best of luck when trying to reach your goals and in whatever else you plan on doing after this course has ended.

  7. Hi Lisa,
20 Years and STRONG! Keep that going. I love how you are staying so positive. We all need positivity in our lives. I also recap my day now. Before, I was too tired and/or lazy. However, it really does give me relief and just a great feeling to reflect overall. It poses as a path to clear my mind. I wish you luck in continuing forward to reach all your goals. Best of luck and keep up all the hard work. :)
